Sourcing and verification

A story starts from a public clip, post, or report. The newsroom then looks for a primary source: the creator, the platform, the brand, or the organizer.

A claim stays attributed to the person who made it when a short clip does not prove the wider point. IRLScene does not invent quotes, dates, dollar figures, audience numbers, or relationships.

How clips are credited

A story is about the event, not the account that reposted a clip. IRLScene uses that post only as a tip, then reports what happened and credits the creator or the outlet that confirmed it.
